Sidney Cummings is an essential part of the URU team,providing the care, support and understanding necessary to allow Founder and CEO Crystal R. Emery, who is also a quadriplegic with two chronic diseases, to overcome her physical challenges. Sid’s work ranges from activities of daily living (ADLs), to driving and editing Crystal’s speeches. Sid is also a speaker and ambassador for URU, particularly with young audiences. He consistently reminds Crystal that she is the quarterback of URU, and it is the team’s job to support her so that she can make the touchdowns.

Sid attended Central Connecticut State University.
